Hi. I just started using RM Noise and it works great to filter out all the noise I have. Only problem is, and I'm sure its just a settings issue, that I can't hear the CW I'm sending on my IC 705. Is there a way to hear the CW side tone through the headphones I'm using?
Thanks
No sidetone on CW?
Re: No sidetone on CW?
This is a challenge. Right now there isn't an easy solution.
I'm [eventually] going to do some research and see if it is possible to reduce the BYPASS latency to 10ms. If this works, it might be possible to use monitoring at the radio to send your TX CW to the headphones/speakers and automatically activate BYPASS using something like HamLib, but I'm not sure if the 10ms delay will be fast enough to not be distracting.
Also, take a look here: viewtopic.php?t=69
In an analog, line-in environment it should be possible to monitor your TX and use a relay to switch the radio's output to the headphone's input during TX. There is a forum post related to this, but I couldn't find it.
