The AI neural network can be trained with custom noise recordings. It may be useful over time to make multiple recordings of different conditions, i.e. band, rain, antenna, direction, etc.
Before you make a recording:
Recordings intended for training the AI:

To record your noise for training:
Check that your radio settings are consistent with the current project standard:
Bandwidth: 2.8 kHz
Noise reduction off
Noise blanking off
DSP filter shape: sharp
Tune the radio to a frequency without any CW or voice, near a desired frequency. You can use the original / filtered slider and time-shift as desired
Wait 30 minutes until the recording has finished
Before you make a recording:
Recordings intended for training the AI:
- should be PURE NOISE
- should NOT contain voice, cw, wsjt, sine wave tones, etc
- should be made with the radio's bandwidth filter set to 2.8KHz
- should be 30 minutes
- are not necessary if your noise is already handled perfectly (total silence at 100% filtered)
