Audio streaming problem

Post by antonio66 »

Hello everyone. I'm having trouble getting the software to work. I've set the correct inputs in the RM NOISE CLIENT program, but the spectrum is barely visible, and I can't hear the changes if I use headphones! What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

I've been out of town.

I see your filtered graph. I would also like to see the original graph (toggled by the GRAPH button), in order to see the input levels.

You can also inspect your input levels here: settings->system->sound->[input device]->Input Volume

Hi, it doesn't filter anything! The levels are all maxed out, but if I turn the slider up to 100%, the noise doesn't kick in! I checked the correct inputs, microphone and headphones, but nothing...

The signal reaches the software poorly, the inputs are correct...

it filters little....why??

antonio66,

Your ORIGINAL graph does not show the noise floor input from the radio. (Normally, the original graph shows the noise floor's constant signal up to around 2800Hz. The amplitude of the input should be between 5 and 7 on that color scale.)

It seems you have setup the input as the microphone. Ideally, you should use USB or the soundcard's line-in to get the audio into the PC.

Also, "filter signal at the server from INPUT DEVICE" should be checked on the OPTIONS page.

Good morning, I can't get it to work with any of the inputs and outputs I've set... 🫣🫣

But the correct ones should be headphones and microphone like in my SDR, but instead they don't work.
