training - bandwidth

Post by HB9TXB »

Hello
Instruction says "the bandwidth filter should be 2.8KHz".
Please advise desired upper and lower frequency limit.

Refer to this post: viewtopic.php?p=22#p22

Except for the radio's DSP roll-off characteristics, the upper audio frequency should be 2.8KHz. The lower audio frequency shouldn't be limited.

It is my intention for the next major branch of the client (0.21.9.8) to include a user adjustable upper and lower bandpass filter.

Just for clarification if I am on LSB the filter should be 2800 - 0. for the 2800 KHz bandwidth? I have sent 2 files at 2800 KHz but using 2900-100. or obviously the opposite direction for USB. Please confirm how you would prefer these bandwidths setup and I'll provide a few from my Flex Radio.
