Re: SOUNDCARD OFFLINE - ALL OF A SUDDEN
I see the [dreaded] -9999 error. I'm guessing you've already tried it, but be sure and reboot. More suggestions: - try deleting the config file: rmnoise.cfg (You will need to reenter your password.) - it appears you're letting MS choose the sound devices (device 0). You might try choosing the device...

Re: SOUNDCARD OFFLINE - ALL OF A SUDDEN
I'm not sure and will suggest a few things - many of which you may have already tried. - reboot - check device manager for active soundcard devices - check to see if other audio apps work (like audacity, if you have it) - when you are troubleshooting devices within RM Noise, be sure and click ACTIVA...

Re: voice "trail"
A few months ago, another user reported a voice saying "trial". To be clear, it is not coming from the RM Noise client or servers.
I'm not sure where to start.. Is there anything unusual about your installation?

Re: Headphone audio low
Howdy. Take a look at Windows' mixer and the levels for both the input and output device you are using in RM Noise. If possible, increase the volume levels. Mixer: Settings -> system -> sound -> volume mixer Device specific input / output device levels: Settings -> system -> sound -> [specific-input...

Re: Difficulty managing recording bandwidth for uploads
Howdy!
I am not familiar with your rig, but the bandwidth setting should be made at the radio, and you should use that bandwidth setting when listening with RM Noise.
This way, the real-time audio, to which you listen, will 'match' the recording used to train the AI.

Re: bypass not working/only very strong signals coming through?
You could also make a 2 minute recording, so I can check if indeed there is a difference between 0 and 100% filtering. Just let me know, once the recording is there.

Re: bypass not working/only very strong signals coming through?
Eric - hello. 1) I hear no difference between Bypass toggled on or off. Ditto for 0->100 filtering. Everything sounds filtered. Any thoughts what I'm doing wrong? Does mute work as expected? I'm also wondering what happens with bypass and 0-100% filtering if you use a recording for the audio input. ...

Re: Program stopped working
It appears the config file has been corrupted in some way.
You can delete the "rmnoise.cfg" file from the RM Noise install directory, and it will be recreated. This directory defaults to:
C:\Users\your-username-here\AppData\Local\Programs\RM Noise
