Re: RM Noise successfuly installed but not getting a prompt for login/password log shows DNS error

We handled this through email.. For those who are interested, this DNS issue was related to how the python DNS library (dnspython) parses each interface's static DNS entries. Microsoft's documentation says the entries should be "space delimited", but sometimes I am seeing that they are com...

Re: Long Delay

I should have realized earlier. This sounds like the "time-shift" feature which allows you to replay your audio. The main graph on the screen represents several minutes of historical audio. If you click on that graph (or use your left arrow key) you activate time-shift and a thin, rectangu...

Re: Long Delay

A full minute is surprising.

a) That 200ms delay metric is calculated immediately before I pass the audio to the sound card.

b) Without using a command line parameter, the maximum allowable delay should only be 1 second (max audio buffer in OPTIONS.)

Re: Electrical Noises

I am constantly getting noise from local houses S3/S4 and to me this is the biggest threat to our hobby, certainly on HF. Submit a sample of your QRM, and the next AI filter I train should reduce or eliminate it. in the future do you think there might be any plans to further develop RM Noise? Work ...

Re: No sidetone on CW?

This is a challenge. Right now there isn't an easy solution. I'm [eventually] going to do some research and see if it is possible to reduce the BYPASS latency to 10ms. If this works, it might be possible to use monitoring at the radio to send your TX CW to the headphones/speakers and automatically a...

I'm not sure. How did you configure RM Noise for auto startup?

Re: Wider bandwidth - UHF/VHF 8 kHz bandwidth support

One of my next goals is to make changes to the client [to better handle timing changes I'm currently making at the server]. One of the changes I have in mind is to support 16kHz sampling, which supports up to 8kHz of audio bandwidth. Of course, I will need to accumulate a new noise database at this ...

Re: SSB Filter

Hello. Filter 1, 5 & 6 may sound the same to you, but they represent different states of the noise dataset (the list of all of the accepted noise recordings.) A user who submitted a new recording will notice the difference between filter #1 (after it has been trained with their recording) and th...

Re: Invalid user name and password

Larry,

I see your account in the database, and I'm wondering if the problem is related to a replication issue.

I have turned off the suspect server. Please try it again and report back..
